I was trying one of Erica's newborn dresses on her the other day, just to see if it would still fit. Not only did it fit her, but it provided great entertainment.

Erica at 4 months
Oh how our little girl has grown. I can't believe that 4 months ago a very sleep deprived new set of parents cradled a 6 pound 7 oz baby in their arms. Today at the doctor's she weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs 4 oz! She's huge! For those graph followers, I've added a couple of new data points.
Erica's had a bunch of milestones latey! She rolled over (front to back) for the first time at the doctor's office today. She laughed for the first time two weekends ago, but since will only laugh for her dad and at day care, NOT for mom. She is happily making "g" and "m" sounds. She's played in the exersaucer. It's been a busy few weeks!
Because we haven't had many pictures lately, here are a few for your enjoyment.

Erica in ACTION!
Erica has started a new ritual when she wakes up. Before she even opens her eyes, she does a series of leg lifts and starts TALKING LOUDLY in her Erica language. I captured the calisthenics and chatting the other morning, after her eyes had opened. So for the first time we have action Erica shots.
Can you imagine waking up to this every morning, and there is no snooze button? Sometimes at 4:45 a.m.? It's a little shocking. The video doesn't do her volume justice either. Nate heard her in the basement as she was doing this. We are hoping someday she learns quiet along with loud.
By the way, I think I should have called it the "Erica salute" rather than the "Erica gesture" in the last blog. I think that sounds better...
