August and September

So I went back to the blog and realized that we were missing our entire summer, fall and winter on the blog.  Lame!  Now I'm trying to go back and fill in the gaps.

Let's start with mommy's birthday!  Nanna, Grandpa, Uncle Matt and Aunt Anne came over and enjoyed the day.  Nanna played in the sandbox with Erica.

Next, we enjoyed a concert at the Botanic Gardens with friends.  This is the third year in a row that Erica has been to a concert at the Gardens.  She loves her glowy bracelets.

Daddy, mommy, and Erica went for a hike over labor day weekend and we stopped and took a break for a snack.

Erica had her first trip to Elitch Gardens at the beginning of September.  We went with friends, and she enjoyed the carousel, so long as she sits on the seats, and not the animals.

Erica rode on a few of the kiddy rides.  Well, she at least got on a few of the kiddy rides.  While mommy was was riding a roller coaster, Erica sat on the train with her friend, but she wasn't willing to stay on the train for a ride.

Once mommy got back, she was willing to ride in the open car of the train!

Oh, the boat was so much fun until Mommy had to leave so the boat could start.  I have a lovely video of Erica crying around, around and around the ride.

Somehow Erica recovered enough to ride with her Daddy in a big semi though!

Neither Erica, or Mommy, or Daddy wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel.  No way.  It's cool to look at though!

Mommy bought lollipops for the girls that looked like giant jelly beans.  Yum!

Then Mommy's friend bought the girls funny hats.

Oh, lovely hats you too!  They are perfect for the water park.  Next year the parents will remember to bring swimsuits for the girls.

Look, even grownups look good in the hats!  (Erica is still eating her lollipop!)

Later in September Erica got her fingernails polished for the first time, by Mommy. Of course she picked her favorite color, orange!

The same day we had painted fingernails, Mommy and Erica went to the zoo and saw the 4 baby tigers!  Can you imagine 4 babies?  Yikes!  They were super cute though!

So that gets us to the middle of September!  Watch for updates of the rest of 2010 coming soon!
