Oh the joys of dressing up! Erica has just started finding the joys of putting on mom's shoes, dad's shoes, mom's shirts, and costumes at school. She also had a great time at our party in May dressing up with her friends. At one and two years older than her, they already know the joy and were happy to share it with their little friend.
The evening of fun started with wagon rides around the yard with all three girls.
Then Nate and our friend Heidi dressed up all three girls from our meager bin of dress up clothes. Note the boots that they all have on. The girls did that all by themselves. Poor Erica was frustrated, because she's not quite as good at shoes as her friends are!
The girls walked down the "runway" of our back porch, one at a time, to the waiting adoring fans. Their costumes were admired, their cell phones ran "Oh, my phone is ringing", and then they'd walk back in the house and do it all again. So adorable, and so fun!
Later, Erica found the joy of wearing bicycle helmets and singing Frere Jacques. Does she have a future in musical theater? We'll see...
